I didnt have high expectations for this as it is quite a dark red and I usually opt for a brighter red but three days in and I'm very impressed. The whole idea of it being a foam dye didnt really appeal to me either but it is actually alot easier than any other hair dye I have used.
Some Pro's
Easy application and full coverage: This is the easiest dye I have used as it doesn't cause mess like normal hair dye (unless you apply to much) and you also get a good even coverage as it is less likley your missing bits of hair, unlike when you use normal hair dye.
Accessibility: I have seen this product in a couple of large supermarkets and drugstores which makes it an easy accessable product for all, And in drugstores they usualy have an introductry offer for new products.
Shade Range: John Freida have done well! They have a fairly large colour range compared to some of the other foam dyes on the market, although they could add a few more.
And Con's
Irritation: This will vary on each person but for me the once the dye was applied it was slightly itchy at first and was a bit uncomfertable, but nothing that wouldnt stop me from using it again.
Price: At the moment the price is £6.99 as it is new to the market, the normal price is £9.99 and I know it is only £3 more than the introductry offer, but I can find cheaper hair dyes that do the same thing.
All in all I enjoyed using the hair dye itself, no dripping, no mess, good colour pay off and even coverage. But it is slightly over priced for a home dye.
